Spalding MFA
Hello everyone! Long time no post!
Life has been rolling at warp speed lately. I said goodbye to SFUAD and New Mexico, and hello again to Kentucky. I'm now a Writing MFA candidate at Spalding University! I'm so excited to be part of this awesome program. I just completed my first residency and am starting my Independent Study. I chose a low-res program so that I won't be tied to any specific location, be able to add more experiences to my repertoire as well as reading fabulous books and generating lots of awesome writing!
Right now is such an exciting time in my people's lives. My writing feels revitalized, I have friends studying in Ghana and others in Prague, friends taking some time to travel domestically and abroad, others starting their careers and families and new manuscripts. Truly, this is a period of beginnings and forward momentum. Being surrounded by so much support, creativity, and determination makes this crazy planet so much brighter to exist in.
