I have six new favorite fairytales, each more satisfying and vindicating than any old happily-ever-after. The design and illustrations are icing on the cake.

If I had to choose a favorite story (which is nearly impossible as they’re all so spellbinding), it’d have to be “When Water Sang Fire.”
